Room 5's Winter writing!!

Last week Room 5 focussed on writing about Winter. We talked about what we could see, hear, touch, smell and taste when it was winter. The students came up with some great ideas , which we recorded on the board.
Each writing group then chose which sentences they liked, or created a new one , and filled out their Winter writing sheet.
After this we worked on some artwork to accompany our poems. These are now all up at the back of Room 5, so if you missed seeing your child's poem that went home in Week 1, pop in and check out the display !

This week we also welcomed Dylan, Kauri, Riley and Nevada into our class, we are going to try and update our blog photo next week to show you all of the lovely smiley faces.
